This is the 100th post on the News Donkey blog. Oh by the way, welcome to News Donkey and thank you for visiting.

The News Donkey blog provides an aggregation of news reports and media coverage about the Obama administration and related current events with emphasis on controversial topics of the day. There is also a companion Twitter feed for this blog.

From time to time, editorial opinion may be provided (so far, none yet) but the goal here is just really to give a snapshot of current issues in an objective fashion. This does not mean that all articles featured on News Donkey won’t have a bias of some sort. In fact, some posts are definitely biased but there is also a variety of views provided (from liberal, to centrist, to conservative) in order to give an overall balanced perspective of what people are really concerned about.

Any given day, the blog may feature specific sides of issues, but ultimately there is a general approach to presenting all sides. News Donkey places an emphasis on getting at the truth of things by featuring articles that are generally substantive or which provide valuable insight.

Comments (no SPAM) and on-topic viewpoints are also welcome on this blog. You can see where there are already over a dozen comments posted to several news stories featured on the blog. Feel free to share your thoughts too and to reference any other worthwhile articles that could add to an understanding of current events.
